Ashgrove Contract furniture
As I shake hands with the managing director at the Royal Belfast Hospital, he says to me "Job well done!" I am proud of my staff, our clients are happy. We made the most complex curved counter in Ashgrove history, record timing. My name is Liam Dempsey. I am managing director of Ashgrove, we asked OgeeTek to provide us with solution that would grow our business. Production costs were high when it came to curved counters and bespoke joinery. I knew we needed software to streamline procedures, we decided on 3D Analyzer Software and have never looked back. I originally contacted OgeeTek to help me sort out my curved work. I had heard that 3D Analyzer Software was not only able to cut out errors, but also able to automatically generate reports and seamless links to my CNC machines. When I saw Darren Duane, complete something that took my factory twelve days to complete, in half an hour, I knew Ashgrove had to have it. In 2006 Ashgrove Contract Furniture won the Ballymena Chamber of Commerce - Excellence in Manufacturing Title. It all comes down to 3D Analyzer Software, it is the link from our 3D CAD system right to our CAM software that runs the machines. We manufacture standard and custom items superfast and get great returns from our cnc machines. With bespoke joinery, we adopt mass production techniques and are still able to get them completed in 1/5 of the time. We employed OgeeTek to make us our custom library of standard items to give us a kick start. We were ready for production in next to no time, meaning our staff could focus on learning the software instead of worrying about deadlines. We then set up a standard procedure of workflow for all staff to follow with, OgeeTek consultants. Disruption to our office has been minimal and the transition has been easy.
Gibson Shopfitters Eliminate manual operations with 3D Analyzer Software to compress their manufacturing schedule
Gibson Shopfitters is one of the largest and longest standing shopfitters in Australia, servicing medium to large sized retailers. Gibson Shopfitters is the preferred choice for shopfitting when it comes to major retailers, nationally and internationally. With a strong and diversified client base, Gibson Shopfitters has a commitment to their clients to produce high quality items within a tight manufacturing schedule. When they bought a new CNC Machine to replace their veteran, they needed technology that would be able to assist the machine to reach its full potential. With an existing 3D CAD system already in place, Gibson Shopfitters needed a solution that would connect their 3D CAD with the machine, seamlessly. According to Brett Tancred, Operations Manager for the Joinery Division, the new machine would highlight some challenges that needed solutions. From recommendation, he decided to chat with OgeeTek, about 3D Analyzer Software.
3D Analyzer Software was implemented to serve the primary functions: - Increase productivity
- Seamlessly bridge the gap between 3D CAD and CAM
- Reduce manufacturing errors
"We need our processes to be precise and cost effective, always maintaining our high quality that we are famous for. In the end, successful installation of our projects mean satisfied clients. When a project is undertaken by Gibson Shopfitters, the whole team from management to installer is committed to achieving all the demanding quality requirements and project deadlines which are typical in shopfitting" says Tancred.
Pedley International Furniture Make a high return on investment yielding increased profitability with 3D Analyzer Software
Standing at the HMS Belfast looking onto Harmony II was a fine moment in the history of OgeeTek. One of the oldest, most established furniture manufacturers in the UK showcasing the endless possibility that is 3D Analyzer Software. Mr Pedley tells the world that OgeeTek has given his sons a Bright future in the family business. Pedley International, a large furniture group, situated 40 minutes from busy inner London, is the home of some of the finest 5 star luxury hotel furniture. The dream of Mr Pedley Snr was to one day produce a showcase of Pedley Furniture that could travel the world. Sons Alan and Martin, worked together over 5 years to actualise their late fathers dream. Buying in an old Russian ship and crew; designers, engineers, and furniture makers collaborated to build the ultimate showcase for Pedley International. Only one challenge... how were designers and furniture makers going to work together and share information to fast track the interior fit out of the ship? The solution: OgeeTek. Pedley Furniture set out office began drawing the vessel, and with simple drag n drop of the substantial Pedley Furniture libraries, the ship was drawn ready for production in record time! Darren Duane, Managing Director of OgeeTek UK was invited to spend the evening on board the ship, was proud to walk through every room, knowing that it was all built with the assistance of 3D Analyzer Software! Darren Duane implemented 3D Analyzer Software at Pedley International some 7 years ago. Alan Pedley states, When Darren implemented 3D Analyzer Software in our set out offices, we increased set out efficiency by at least 30%. To be able to build Harmony II on our 3D CAD system and send it straight through to 3D Analyzer Software was a fantastic, seamless automated process. For the amount of intricate detail in the vessel, everything came together so simple, so fast! No manual tool allocation in conjunction with a significant reduction of manufacturing errors, made 3D Analyzer Software an integral part of our workshop.
Premier Furniture Are able to select the machines they want with confidence, thanks to 3D Analyzer Software.
Premier Furniture will be celebrating 50 years of manufacturing this year! Over the 50 years there has been progression from traditional manufacturing to a fully automated environment. Their operations began in St Peters. With a core focus on quality and client satisfaction, the family owned company flourished and consequently went through an expansion period. When Premier Furniture out grew the premises in the early 1980s, they moved to the old Boyce and Brigden factory in Erskineville where they are today. Managing Director, Peter Langford, knew that they needed to find the right software to reduce overheads via improved organisation, communication and process. Peter rang OgeeTek to talk about solutions and chose 3D Analyzer Software. 3D Analyzer was purchased to streamline: - The set out office
- The shop floor
- The machinery
- The overall processes
Years later, Peter has more flexibility and control of his overall process, without having to spend hours sorting issues on the factory floor. Being able to align powerful CNC machines directly with the set out office significantly reduces errors. With software controlling operations, Peter states that errors on the shop floor are less likely because, processes are validated in 3D Analyzer before they are sent to the shop floor. The power of software and process at Premier is a success formula that effectively communicates information from the set out office to the shop floor automatically. With the set out office controlling most aspects on a production front, the shop floor becomes an organised and cost effective furniture production facility. The machinery and overall system in place has significantly reduced overheads. |
